The Weft Sewcial Club is a Black woman owned social club for local sewists who want to prioritize in-person connections while developing their sewing skills. We are a diverse group of sewists and crafters with a range of interests and experience.
The club meets monthly in Randolph MA.
If you want to build authentic relationships and escape the AI slop that is taking over online crafting spaces, the Sewcial Club is for you.
How to join
All prospective members are invited to attend a complementary Sewcial Club meeting. You will meet current members and experience the club for yourself. The Sewcial Club operates on a Pay-What-You-Can fee schedule, starting at $30 per month.

Intro to Hand Embroidery
Join me, Rachelle, for an in-person hand embroidery class at Emerald City Plant Shop.
You’ll learn the basics of hand embroidery and complete a sampler that will teach you some of the most-common hand embroidery stitches. With the skills learned, you’ll be able to complete beginner projects like my “Features” pattern.
This class is ideal for beginners, whether you’re just getting started or you have some embroidery experience. Participants must be 16 years old or older.
